Volunteer Careers Donate Book a Tour

A positive attitude and giving heart are the first steps to helping brighten the future of others in our community. Help make a positive impact in Kamloops through donating your time or gently used clothing and household items. We have a variety of volunteer and some paid positions available where you can personally help to make an impactful difference in our community and others lives.

What makes a community? Its people. And Kamloops, similar to any city, is home to wonderful people from all walks of life. Life and lifestyles can change in an instant and at the New Life Community Kamloops, we focus on alleviating hardships and providing positive opportunities for change. We lend an open ear, supply needed clothing and shelter options, provide nourishing food and rehabilitation assistance and most importantly, comfort the soul through building impactful relationships with everyone who walks through our doors…or maybe prefers to sit just outside of them. They may be your brother, sister, past neighbor or co-worker, or you may not know them at all….but they are in need of your help.

Volunteer Opportunities

Call 250-434-9898, email,
or fill out our Volunteer Application Form.

Did you know that the simple act of donating your time one morning or afternoon this week could help directly transform someone else’s life in our community onto a positive path for change? We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available for those looking to give back to their community, meet new people and help change lives. From volunteering in our Outreach Centre preparing or serving food or to organizing clothing and household donations for sale in our Thrift Store, to performing vehicle maintenance on our delivery vehicle or building confidence in another as you trim their hair in our Salon. Whether you are looking to interact with others or remain behind the scenes, we have life-enriching volunteer opportunities available here for you.

We would like to personally thank all of our past, present and potential future volunteers whom, without your help, our organization would have difficulty operating and assisting those less fortunate within our community.
